Sisko chce vrak získat pro Hvězdnou flotilu; vzápětí však na Torgu dorazí komando Jem'Hadarů, které vede mladá a velice úlisná Vorta jménem Kilana. Na ztroskotané lodi se zjevně nachází něco, o co má Dominion eminentní zájem.
